Counseling

Social-emotional counseling is generally inherent in the process of consultation with parents and intervention of any kind. However, sometimes it is a necessary external component of achieving educational success. This is especially the case when students exhibit maladaptive behaviors that affect learning and living.

Counseling is a direct service to children and is focused on educational success through individual or small group counseling sessions. This service will most likely involve parents as support in implementing programs and solving problems.
